What's New?

  • AIRAH is running 2-day carbon detective seminars, Operation 'Energy Audit', in Sydney on 20-21 November 2008 and in Melbourne on 27-28 November 2008. Remember that IHEA members receive the same rates on course fees as AIRAH members. Brochure and registration form available from Events.
  • Presentations from the IHEA 59th National Conference are now available from the Document Repository in the Members' Section.
  • CALL FOR ABSTRACTS by Friday 28 November 2008 ACHSE 2009 NATIONAL CONGRESS Building our Healthcare Systems around People and their Needs in partnership with Centre for Health Assets Australasia (CHAA), FBE, UNSW at Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort & Spa, Gold Coast, Queensland 4-7 August 2009.   • The Hospital Build Asia Exhibition and Congress will be held from 1-3 April 2009 in Singapore. It will be Asia’s first Exhibition and Congress dedicated to Hospital infrastructure, Finance & Investment, Design and Building, Management and Refurbishment.   • The WA branch annual conference with the theme of Towards High Performance Leadership will be held on Friday, 14 November 2008 in West Perth. The brochure is available in the Events section.
  • Presentations from the IHEA Queensland Branch Mid-Year Conference Infection Control - and the Hospital Engineer held on 18 July 2008 are now available from the Events section.
  • The Victorian State Government is undertaking free assessments on the water efficiency of cooling towers (delivered through AIRAH). By participating, you will also assist in the development of industry standards and benchmarks, to drive water savings across the sector. If you have any buildings within your organisation that you would like to submit for an assessment.   • CALL FOR PAPERS South African Federation of Hospital Engineering (SAFHE) Biennial Conference 20 - 22 May 2009 in Cape Town. More information is available from the Events section.
  • AIRAH Melbourne Forum at the Treasury Theatre, Lower Plaza, 1 Macarthur Street, East Melbourne. These are free events, please invite your colleagues but you must be registered to attend.
