The integrity of the AIRAH water treatment service providers' company accreditation scheme is of the utmost importance to its success. As a result, AIRAH reserves the right to suspend or remove the accreditation of any company that is found to be in breech of the Victorian Code of Practice for Water Treatment Service Providers (Cooling Tower Systems), is found to be at fault in the event of a Legionella outbreak from a cooling tower serviced by the provider, that fails to maintain appropriate insurance cover or that allows unqualified staff to service a cooling tower system.
While AIRAH takes steps to ensure that its accredited service providers maintain appropriate insurance cover , employ trained staff and comply with all relevant codes of practice and Australian Standards, AIRAH accepts no legal responsibility for the actions and results of, or any negligence on the part of , its accredited service providers.
