Site Tour: New Footscray Hospital – Predictive Maintenance in Modern Healthcare Facilities
The IHEA is pleased to invite members and industry colleagues to an upcoming site tour of the new Footscray Hospital, one of Victoria’s most significant healthcare infrastructure developments.
Delivered by the Victorian Government as part of a more than $1.5 billion investment, the new Footscray Hospital represents one of the largest health infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the state. Located at the corner of Geelong and Ballarat Roads, the facility has been designed to support the rapidly growing communities of Melbourne’s western suburbs, ensuring patients and families can access high-quality healthcare services closer to home.
Once fully operational, the new hospital will significantly expand healthcare capacity in the region. The facility will include nearly 200 additional beds, allowing the hospital to treat approximately 15,000 more patients each year and enabling the emergency department to see around 20,000 additional patients…
