Electric Cables

AS 3000:2018

Electrical Installations (Wiring Rules)

​The changes are focused primarily on:

1. The removal of references to the obsolete and withdrawn switchboard standard AS/NZS 3439. This means that from the date of the publication of the amendment, only switchboards complying to the AS/NZS 61439 series will be allowed to be installed unless certain conditions are met.
2. The addition of the recently updated AS/NZS 3112:2017 Approval and test specification - Plugs and socket-outlets, which replaces the withdrawn AS/NZS 60884.1.

Asset Management

AS ISO 55000:2014 (Asset Management- Overview, principles and terminology)  Further to this AS ISO 55002:2019 (Asset management-Management systems- Guidelines for the application of 55001) Published in 2019 .                                                                                          What is the difference between ISO 55000 and 55001 and 55002?
ISO 55000 – contains terminology and an overview of asset management standards. ISO 55001 – specifies the requirements for effective and efficient asset management systems. ISO 55002 – gives guidance on how to implement, maintain and control the management system

AS 3666:2011

The AS/NZS 3666 Series includes four Standards that cover the various aspects of design, installation, commissioning, cleaning, operation, and maintenance of air conditioning systems including cooling water systems.
