Site Tour: Peninsula University Hospital Redevelopment
The IHEA is pleased to invite members and industry colleagues to an upcoming site tour of the newly redeveloped Peninsula University Hospital, one of the most significant healthcare infrastructure projects in Melbourne’s south-east.
Delivered by the Victorian Government as part of a $1.1 billion redevelopment, the project represents the largest health infrastructure investment ever made in Melbourne’s south-east. Formerly known as Frankston Hospital, the newly named Peninsula University Hospital has undergone a major transformation to support the growing healthcare needs of the region’s expanding population.
The redevelopment includes a new 12-level clinical services tower and main entrance, significantly expanding the hospital’s capacity and capability. The project has delivered 130 additional beds, 15 new operating theatres, and purpose-built spaces for mental health and oncology services, supporting more integrated and specialised care for patients.
