Fremantle Hospital first FULL site black start test was a successful full utility power isolation, generator run and return transition.
Fremantle Hospital Temporary Generator installation consisted of a temporary connection of containerised generators to FH system to provide coverage during extended Western Power works that placed FH at elevated risk of extended duration (9 multi day) utility power supply failure.
Peel campus CSSD Power Supply Innovation. Applied critical investigation and thinking for deep examination of opportunity to reuse and modify existing switchgear, that was otherwise dismissed as not able to be modified and remain compliant. Savings of $2.5M over 5 years compared to alternative generator hire and for power supply to new CSSD.
Rupert also has participated and submitted feedback to LARU on the proposed draft changes to the WA Healthcare Guidelines for Engineering Services and has also investigated and driven improvements in the Water Quality and flushing at FH, and continues to work hard in this space.
