Workshop Project - led by Monash Sustainable Development Institute
Phase 1 of the project seeks to established a consortium of health system stakeholders, working together in a process of collective learning to develop an implementation focused guide to accelerate emissions reductions in the Australian health system.
As part of this work there is a series of workshops, and IHEA are seeking interested parties to participate in the workshop series.
The aim of the workshops is to bring together practice and policy experience and expertise in the health sector to:
Better understand the drivers of emissions in the health system
Share knowledge and experience in what has worked (and what hasn’t) in implementing emissions reduction initiatives
Hear examples of leading practice and innovation
Explore what would enable emissions reduction in the Australian health system (make it easier, more affordable and more effective) while also supporting broader sustainability goals
Identify and prioritize actions that could accelerate emissions reduction for organizations and across the health system.
