New SA WCH WELL Building Standard Planning - An Insider's perspective

IHEA SA Branch is pleased to announce their upcoming PD Event planned for Thurs 27th June in Adelaide CBD.


Join us to hear directly from the team intimately involved in the process, progress and intricacies of the new WCH Well Certification.

 

Firstly, Jack Noonan will share the New WCH Sustainability Principles and Design Strategies.

Jack is currently the Portfolio Manager on the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH) project, focusing on the design progression of the Hospital and Leads the Project Team Environmentally Sustainable Design, having played a key role in progressing the commitment to 100% electrification of the New WCH.




Deborah Davidson from Adelaide based sustainable design company dsquared will outline the opportunities in delivering better healthcare projects through considering environmental and wellbeing initiatives at all project stages. She will talk to her experience in both the private healthcare space, and in delivering sustainable solutions for multiple hospitals and healthcare facilities with SA Health, highlighting ‘sustainable design in healthcare facilities – a consultant’s perspective’.




And finally, Jack Noonan will provide an update on the SA process thus far. Jack Noonan serves the Asia Pacific market as Vice President, APAC, for the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). Based in Melbourne, Jack’s role involves leading the technical support, market development and operations across the Asia Pacific region.
