IHEA NSW/ACT Branch will host an end of year PD event at The Sydney Eye Hospital on November 22nd, 2024.
As the oldest functioning Healthcare Facility in Australia, there will be a focus on Heritage buildings and their associated issues. Topics explored will include the history of different hospitals within NSW, including RPA and Blue Mountains Hospital.
Discussion will also focus on how to work with NSW Heritage, procedures, funding and the unexpected problems when managing aged infrastructure.
The day will then conclude at 4:30 with a networking Harbour Cruise.
