IHEA WA invites Members For An Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tour of Perth’s Iconic Optus Stadium
Hosted by Project Partner Stantec, the engineers who completed design services for this multi-award winning stadium. Key design features include full 4G wi-fi coverage, over 80 food and beverage outlets, a wide range of seating and hospitality options, and a lightweight fabric roof covering 85% of the seats which creates a spectacular halo effect.
The multidisciplinary services included design and documentation for electrical engineering, fire engineering, fire protection, mechanical engineering, sustainability, technology, and vertical transportation.
Capturing the heart of the sporting community, this 60,000-seat facility has become one of Perth's iconic destinations. “This stadium represents our sporting culture. Beyond Western Australia, it's a place where all fans can come together to support their local and international legends,” said Brett Davis, Stantec's Regional Director for Buildings in Australia. “This project called for a fans-first approach throughout all aspects of our design which has subsequently led to exceptional experiences for patrons at every event.”

Join us for an exclusive pre-conference, behind the scenes tour at Optus Stadium, with special focus on installations recently undertaken with regards to the Generator power and electrical conversions. electrical infrastructure and generator power. Starting at 4pm sharp for 2 hours. Places are limited, registration is essential and preference is allocated to IHEA members.
IHEA WA will then host a Sundowner at the Camfield Hotel from 6pm to 7:30pm, open to all interested parties for a pre-conference social and networking opportunity.
