On Wednesday 3 December, our Victorian and Tasmanian members came together at the Bourke Street Green, RACV Club, for a relaxed and uplifting End of Year Celebration — and what an afternoon it was! The event delivered exactly what we hoped for: a warm, social atmosphere, great conversation, and a chance to reconnect before the year winds to a close.

A Strong Turnout and Plenty of Energy
The room buzzed with energy — a consistent theme across all feedback. There was strong enthusiasm from hospital engineers, suppliers, and consultants alike, with many attendees keen to contribute to future events and professional development opportunities. Several members even expressed interest in half-day or full-day events in 2025, which will be incredibly valuable as we explore the idea of a VIC Mini-Conference in the new year.

A Successful Finish to 2025
By all measures, the celebration was a great success. Even those who arrived “fashionably late” were welcomed into a vibrant room filled with passionate, engaged members who care deeply about strengthening our VIC/TAS community. The event also highlighted a growing appetite for deeper involvement — a momentum we’re excited to carry forward into 2026.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your energy, insights, and generosity of spirit made the event truly special.
Here’s to another great year ahead — and to building on this fantastic momentum in 2026!
