Designing Safe, Accessible, and Inclusive Healthcare Precinct

Professional Development Lunch & Learn

Join us for an engaging Professional Development Lunch & Learn session with Alice Vincent and Rebecca Cadorin as they explore the design of healthcare precincts as safe, accessible, and inclusive community hubs.

Healthcare precincts are more than just buildings—they are dynamic, 24/7 environments where people work, access services, conduct research, and engage in learning. Ensuring these spaces are safe, welcoming, and accessible for all users requires intentional design strategies that address connectivity, security, and inclusivity across both day and night.

About the Session

Alice and Rebecca will share insights from their recent work on the Westmead Health and Innovation Precinct and the Randwick Health Precinct, highlighting practical strategies to enhance safety, accessibility, and user experience. Attendees will gain actionable ideas on how to create healthcare precincts that are functional, inclusive, and resilient.
