Reduce False Fire Alarms: Strategies, Insights & Smart Technology

Automatic fire alarms save lives—but when they trigger unnecessarily, they can create major operational, financial, and safety challenges. Each year, more than 100,000 automatic fire alarm activations occur across commercial properties in Australia—and over 97% are unwanted false alarms. For property owners, managers, and operators, these activations are not just inconvenient—they can cost hundreds of millions annually and disrupt tenants, patients, and staff.

Join industry experts Brett Spinucci and Phil Yang for a practical session designed to tackle false alarms head-on.

Meet the Speakers

  • The operational and financial impacts on property teams

  • Practical strategies to mitigate false alarms and prevent repeats

  • Proven methods to recover costs and manage chargeable false alarms
