International Call for Presentations – NZIHE Annual Conference 2026

The New Zealand Institute of Healthcare Engineering (NZIHE) is now inviting submissions for the 2026 Annual Conference, to be held 12–13 November 2026 in Auckland.

This annual event brings together engineers, clinicians, researchers, and health system leaders from across New Zealand and the Pacific to advance the role of engineering in delivering safe, sustainable, and patient-centred healthcare.

We welcome presentation proposals from both members and non-members working across all areas of healthcare engineering — from facilities and infrastructure through to biomedical technology, digital health, and emerging innovations.

Presenting at NZIHE offers a valuable opportunity to share your work with a diverse, interdisciplinary audience and contribute to the growing body of knowledge shaping healthcare engineering practice.

Presentation Formats

We offer a range of presentation styles to suit different types of content:

• Oral Presentations Traditional presentations supported by audiovisual content (15 or 30 minutes).

• Quick Fire Presentations Fast-paced, focused presentations delivering key insights in just 5 minutes.

• Poster Presentations Ideal for visually driven content such as data, case studies, and project summaries.

• Workshops / Tutorials Interactive, skills-based sessions (60 minutes).
