We want to hear from you about current practices and opportunities to improve the efficiency of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in operating theatres at your service.
Hospitals run continuously, providing emergency surgery and intensive care services. Such clinical environments create high energy demands on HVAC systems leading to considerable financial costs and greenhouse gas emissions. Our research is looking into how to safely scale back HVAC systems in unused operating theatres after hours, we are surveying hospital engineers to better understand current national HVAC practices and perspectives.
