Climate Ready Healthcare: Assessing Organisational Capacity for Healthcare Greenhouse Gas Emissions Measurement

CALL FOR SURVEY AND INTERVIEW PARTICIPANTS

As a member of the healthcare engineering community, you're invited to take part in a national survey assessing the capacity of Australian healthcare facilities to measure greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Your insights will help shape practical reporting systems aligned with the National Health and Climate Strategy.

Australian healthcare facilities have been making significant progress toward implementing sustainable practices. However, there remains a need for further understanding of their capacity to measure greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions effectively. This survey aims to assess the organisational capacity for measuring healthcare GHG emissions across Australian facilities.

As the National Health and Climate Strategy plans to measure health system GHG emissions at state and territory levels, your insights will help policymakers develop effective emission reporting capabilities.

This survey targets health organisations and healthcare facilities in Australia. Please take 10-20 minutes to answer the questions. This survey is adapted from the Program Sustainability Assessment Tool (PSAT) by the Centre for Public Health Systems Science at Washington University in St. Louis.

The survey participants and responses are anonymous and confidential. Participants who have completed the survey may voluntarily choose to participate in an interview to further explore their answers. The researcher will select 10 participants for the interview.

Ten participants who complete the survey will win a $50 Gift Mastercard through a prize draw, and each person who participates in the interview will receive a $70 Gift Mastercard.
