We’re excited to announce a site tour at Austin Hospital on Friday, 21 November 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by lunch. This event is a unique opportunity to see first-hand how cutting-edge technologies are being implemented in a busy healthcare environment and to learn from real-world experiences.
Theme: Lessons Learnt with the Implementation of New Technologies
Over the past few years, Austin Hospital has been integrating a range of innovative systems to improve operational efficiency and reliability. During this tour, we’ll explore lessons learnt since the implementation of these technologies, including:
IoT Sensors: Deployed since 2020, these sensors track average vibration speed over time and instantaneous acceleration across vibration frequencies, helping teams detect early signs of equipment wear and optimize maintenance schedules.
Busch Vacuum Solutions’ Otto System: Featuring IoT-enabled vacuum pumps, this system provides real-time performance monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities.
BeaconMedaes Medical air compressor: Advanced filtering and drying skids ensure consistent, clean medical air, vital for safe hospital operations.
New Smardt Air-Cooled Chiller: Delivering energy-efficient cooling with intelligent monitoring for improved reliability.
Suppliers of each technology will be on-site to provide demonstrations and answer questions, offering invaluable insights into the design, implementation, and operational lessons of their systems.
